Heads of Mission to Thailand Visit Agricultural Development Project

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand organized a study visit as an annual project for Heads of Diplomatic Missions and their spouses to provide the Diplomatic Corps with an opportunity to learn first-hand how real initiative projects and the sufficiency economy philosophy have been beneficial and helped improve the sustainable livelihoods of local communities throughout Thailand.
Globally, the study visit also underscores Thailand's commitment to green growth and a low-carbon society.
H.E. Ms. Busadee Santipitaks, Permanent Under Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, accompanied the diplomats from 40 countries on this experience on the sustainable agricultural development model.
