Participation of Cuban Consul in Conference on Women's Empowerment

Consul Niurka de la O participated in a conference held at the Austrian Residence in Thailand, organized especially for the wives of ambassadors. The event focused on women's empowerment through entrepreneurship, personal growth, and social impact and entrepreneurship.
The conference highlighted the importance of women's leadership and the transformative role women can play in their communities when given the tools and opportunities for entrepreneurship.

Cuban Consul Visits the Women and Family Development and Learning Center

Mr. Warawut Silpaacha, Minister of Social Development and Human Security (MOHSS), welcomed representatives of the Spouses of Ambassadors and Heads of Mission to Thailand (SHOM) Association, including Cuban Consul Niurka de la O Mojena, to the Women and Family Development and Learning Center of the Central Region, Nonthaburi Province.

King of Thailand Congratulates Cuban President on the Anniversary of the Cuban Revolution

His Majesty King of Thailand, Maha Vajiralongkorn sent a message of congratulations to the President of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel on the occasion of the 66th Anniversary of the Triumph of the Revolution, expressing his willingness to continue working to strengthen and expand bilateral relations.

New Director General of the TICA Agency receives Cuban Ambassador

Ambassador Pedro Pablo San Jorge Rodriguez was received by the new Director General of the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) Mr. Wattanawit Gajaseni. The Ambassador conveyed congratulations and the willingness to continue working on the identification of bilateral projects. They also evaluated the possibility of multilateral cooperation.

Dr. Nalinee Taveesin, Advisor to the PM and Trade Representative of Thailand Receive the Cuban Ambassador

Ambassador Pedro Pablo San Jorge Rodríguez was received at the Government House by Dr. Nalinee Taveesin, Advisor to the Prime Minister and Trade Representative of Thailand. During the meeting both agreed that the two countries have opportunities to further develop cooperation in other dimensions, especially in promoting cooperation in medicine and public health.

Representatives from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Commerce of the Kingdom of Thailand were also present.

Cuban Ambassador Attends Reception Organized by the Government of Thailand .

Ambassador Pedro Pablo San Jorge Rodriguez and his wife Consul Niurka de la O Mojena attended this Saturday the Reception for the IV Anniversary of the Coronation of His Majesty the King of Thailand, organized by the Thai government.

During the activity attended by the diplomatic corps accredited to the Kingdom of Thailand, the ambassador greeted and talked with Srettha Thavisin, Thai Prime Minister, to whom he conveyed the willingness of the Cuban government to continue expanding and strengthening bilateral relations.

Heads of Mission to Thailand Visit Agricultural Development Project

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand organized a study visit as an annual project for Heads of Diplomatic Missions and their spouses to provide the Diplomatic Corps with an opportunity to learn first-hand how real initiative projects and the sufficiency economy philosophy have been beneficial and helped improve the sustainable livelihoods of local communities throughout Thailand.
Globally, the study visit also underscores Thailand's commitment to green growth and a low-carbon society.

Cuban Ambassador Visits Noon Noch Botanical Garden in Pataya

Ambassador Pedro Pablo San Jorge Rodriguez and his wife, Cuban Consul Niurka de la O Mojena visited the Nong Nooch Garden Botanical Garden in Chon Buri Province at the invitation of its President, Mr. Kamphon Tansajja.
The Nong Nooch Garden is dedicated to education, research and conservation of its vast collection of palms and other tropical plants and has signed a cooperation and collaboration program with the National Botanical Garden of Cuba, which was represented this time by specialists Dr. Eldis Rafael Becquer Granados and Dr.Julio Martin Garcia.
