Ambassador Pedro Pablo San Jorge Rodríguez signed the Book of Condolences at the Iranian Embassy in Thailand, condemning the terrorist attack perpetrated during the ceremony for the 4th anniversary of the assassination of General Qassem Soleimani.
The ambassador conveyed his condolences to the families of the victims, on behalf of the Cuban government and people, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
In the context of the "International Conference of the Society for Chinese Diaspora Studies", Ambassador Pedro Pablo San Jorge accompanied representatives of the United States publisher Pathfinder in the presentation of the book "Our story is still being written"
The book tells about the participation of the Cuban generals of Chinese descent Armando Choy, Gustavo Chui and Moisés Sío Wong in the clandestine struggle and the revolutionary war that overthrew the Batista dictatorship and gave way to the triumph of the Cuban Revolution.
Ambassador Pedro Pablo San Jorge Rodríguez attended the reception for Brazil's Independence Day, where he was received by the Brazilian Ambassador in Bangkok Mr. Jose Borges dos Santos Junior and his wife.
The Independence of Brazil was proclaimed on September 7, 1822, through the so-called "Cry of Ipiranga", which took place on the outskirts of São Paulo.
