Spouses of Ambassadors to Thailand Visit School for Blind and Multihandicapped Blind Children

A representation of the Association of Spouses of Ambassadors and Heads of Mission in Thailand, together with the President of the YWCA of Bangkok and members of its executive committee visited the School for blind and visually impaired children in Khao Yai, Phetchaburi province.

The visitors, including Cuban Consul Niurka de la O Mojena, were able to appreciate the beauty of the “Sensory Garden for the Visually Impaired,” which features a variety of plants and elements that encourage exploration and connection with the environment, as well as independence and autonomy for the students.

YWCA is an international non-profit organization that promotes the empowerment, leadership and rights of women, girls and young women.
