The “Raúl Roa García” Association of Cubans Resident in Montreal, in coordination with the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDRs) and the Consulate General of Cuba in Montreal, organized a shipment of humanitarian aid to the community project “Put Your Heart into La Güinera.”
The modest contribution made by Cubans residing in Montreal to mark the centenary of the birth of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz will enable vulnerable people to benefit from food and other essential supplies.
This initiative was conceived following an emotional meeting with the project’s coordinator during the online event “For Cuba’s Sovereignty, in Defense of Its People, the United Nations Charter and International Law,” organized by the Cuban Association of the United Nations on June 9.
We thank the promoters of parliamentary petition e-7649, launched today, as well as those who have signed it. It is clear evidence that Cuba is not alone.
