Kuwait, March 10: His Highness Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah, former Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait, receives Cuban Ambassador Alain Pérez Torres.
During the pleasant meeting, His Highness recalled his visit to Cuba in 2010 as Prime Minister. At the same time, he highlighted his admiration for the Cuban Revolution and its leaders, Fidel Castro and Raul Castro. For his part, the Cuban diplomat thanked Kuwait for its support to the Cuban resolution against the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the U.S. and reiterated the willingness to continue working to strengthen the existing ties between the two countries, characterized by a long-standing friendship.
They also exchanged on current regional and international issues of interest.
