India presents at FIHAV.

A large business delegation from India has been present at the Havana International Fair, Cuba's premier business forum. The Indian Pavilion, organized by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), the International Economic and Trade Organization (IETO) and the Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council (Pharmexcil), has the presence of more than thirty companies from different sectors, many of which are attending FIHAV for the first time.

The Cuban Minister of Energy and Mines, Vicente de la O Levy, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment (Mincex), Déborah Rivas, inaugurated with the Indian Ambassador Dr. S. Janakiraman the India Hall at FIHAV 2022.  The inauguration was also attended by Vilma Sanchez, director of Trade Policy of the Mincex; Ruben Ramos, vice president of the Chamber of Commerce of Cuba, and Rosell Guerra, director of Renewable Energy of the MINEM, among other officials of state agencies. After the lighting of the oil lamp for good auspices, as part of the opening ritual, De la O Levy, Rivas and Janakiraman toured each of the stands where Indian firms show their articles.
