The Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in India in collaboration with the Eight Goals One Foundation organized an activity in homage to our National Hero José Martí at the Bluebells International School in New Delhi.
As part of the program of the event, an exhibition of paintings by students, between the ages of 7 to 12 years and coming from all over the country, who participated in the contest organized last May on the occasion of the 127th anniversary of the fall in combat of José Martí, was inaugurated. The works will be on display until October 15 and are expected to be presented in other schools and also taken to Cuba to be exhibited within the framework of the V International Conference For the Balance of the World.
The students of the Bluebells school were also inspired by the life and work of the Apostle to whom they dedicated various presentations of poetry, theater, dance and music.
Present at the event were Cuban Ambassador Alejandro Simancas Marín; the member of the jury of the UNESCO International José Martí Prize, Ramit Chimni; Manju Sethi and Suman Kumar, top management figures of the school; as well as members of the diplomatic corps accredited in the country.
