Jakarta, November 7, 2018. The Minister of Trade of Indonesia, Enggartiasto Lukita, received today the Ambassador of Cuba, Nirsia Castro Guevara, at the headquarters of his ministry.
During the meeting, the Minister and the Ambassador exchanged about the possibilities and interest in developing trade relations between Indonesia and Cuba. They recalled the historic bonds of friendship that unite the two nations and highlighted the existence of potentialities, of mutual benefit, which development would foster the strengthening of the bilateral relationship. Both representatives committed to identify specific projects that can be translated into actions in the short and medium term.
The meeting was also attended by the Director General for International Trade Negotiation, as well as other officials from the Indonesian Ministry and the Embassy of Cuba.
