Interview of the Cuban Ambassador with the Deputy Foreign Minister, H.E. Ethel Davis.

The Ambassador of Cuba, Dr. Indira López Argüelles, was received on a courtesy visit by the Deputy Foreign Minister, Ambassador Ethel Davis, recently appointed to her post.

The Cuban diplomat expressed her gratitude for Liberia's vote in favor of the Cuban resolution at the United Nations against the U.S. blockade and outlined the current conditions that reinforce it and cause extreme suffering for the Cuban people in attempts to break it.

Both diplomats discussed the potential for strengthening bilateral ties during these 10 years of Cuban presence in Monrovia.
