The Islamic Action Front of Lebanon ratifies its solidarity with Cuba in the struggle against the blockade
The head of mission in Lebanon, Jorge León Cruz, received at the Cuban diplomatic headquarters a delegation headed by Sheikh Zuhair Othman Al Juayd, Secretary General of the Islamic Action Front (IAF), and held a positive meeting that allowed for an exchange on regional and international current affairs and confirmed the existing bilateral ties of solidarity.
The Cuban diplomat acknowledged and thanked the solidarity and firm support received from the Islamic Action Front in support of the resistance of the Cuban people in the struggle against the economic, financial and commercial blockade that the United States has maintained against Cuba for more than 60 years, as well as the support for the confrontation of imperialist hegemonic policies to the detriment of the freedom, independence and sovereignty of the peoples.
He also reiterated his wishes for the success of the work of the Islamic Action Front with the conviction that a better world is possible.
Sheikh Sharif Tutu, Sheikh Walid Alama and Mr. Fouad Sharaf also participated in the meeting.
The Islamic Action Front in Lebanon has reaffirmed its commitment to resistance as the only way to confront the Israeli enemy and neutralize the imperialist strategy of divide and conquer and consider it vital to support the union of peoples and their anti-imperialist governments to achieve freedom, progress and happiness of peoples.
