ISRI delegation visits the Memorial Park to the Friendship between Cuba and Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, May 10, 2024. The visit made by the ISRI delegation led by Dr. C. Leonel Caraballo Maqueira, Ambassador Eumelio Caballero Rodríguez and colleagues from the Cuban Embassy in Ethiopia to the impressive Victory Monument was deeply moving.

Erected in a beautiful garden in the center of the capital, the Memorial Park to the Friendship between Cuba and Ethiopia, houses a very original sculptural set in memory of the 163 beloved compatriots who offered their lives, in fulfillment of one of the most beautiful principles of the Revolution: internationalism, this time in defense of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the brotherly Ethiopian people.  during the so-called Ogaden War.
