The Latin American Arab Solidarity Association José Martí expresses its solidarity with Cuba after the fire in the city of Matanzas.
The Latin American Arab Solidarity Association José Martí expresses its full, militant, militant, fraternal and total solidarity with Cuba after the fire -still uncontrolled- caused by a lightning strike that hit the fuel depot base in the industrial city of Matanzas and exceeded the capacities of the lightning rod system, where, so far, one dead and more than a hundred wounded have been reported, in addition to a number of missing persons, and to the Cuban people, who consider him as their reference in the ability to turn difficult moments into opportunities to get up and continue the path of struggle until victory always, he assures them that Cuba is not alone!
The leadership of the ¨José Martí¨ as well as the friends of Cuba in Lebanon express our Arab revolutionary and internationalist solidarity with Cuba, as well as our condolences to the families and relatives of the victims of the incident, and our wish for a speedy recovery to the injured.
Our fraternal greetings to the united people of Cuba and its revolutionary government, and to all those working to control the situation, as well as to the President, comrade Miguel Díaz Canel, who from the first moments of the incident has been close to his people, supporting and outlining strategies to face the incident and move forward in the phase after the fire has been put out. This has been the president's eagerness and commitment since the first days of his election to the top leadership of our beloved Cuba.
From the Arab world, and a few hours after the ceasefire decreed in our suffering and heroic Gaza in Palestine, after the bloody Zionist aggression against the Palestinian people, where many children, women and elderly people have lost their lives with the brutal Israeli bombardment, we assure you that nothing prevents us from following closely this unfortunate event and being ready to give our lives for Cuba and its people if necessary...
