The Lebanese Communist Party advocates strengthening ties with the PCC
The general secretary of the Lebanese Communist Party (PCL), Hanna Gharib and the PCL executive and president of the Lebanon-Cuba Friendship Association, Maurice Nohra, were received by the Cuban ambassador Jorge P. León Cruz, and held a fruitful meeting in which the interest and willingness to work for the strengthening of the links between the PCL and the PCC was evidenced.
The party leader recalled very pleasantly his recent visit to Cuba and congratulated himself for the positive program that included meetings with the President of the Republic of Cuba and First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba, Miguel Díaz Canel Bermúdez and the member of the Political Bureau and Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the PCC.
The Cuban diplomat thanked the PCL for its firm positions of solidarity in denouncing and demanding the lifting of the blockade imposed by the U.S. against Cuba and demanding that the Caribbean island be removed from the arbitrary list of countries that sponsor terrorism.
