The Lebanese Communist Party condemns and demands the exclusion of Cuba from the arbitrary list of countries sponsoring terrorism
The Political Bureau of the Lebanese Communist Party sends the following letter to the Communist Party of Cuba
Dear Comrades of the Communist Party of Cuba,
The Political Bureau of the Lebanese Communist Party regrets that the U.S. administration continues to fabricate lies and disinformation against Cuba, and condemns the draft resolutions and reports referred to the U.S. Congress to tighten sanctions on Cuba, which are unilateral sanctions that violate international law and this in itself constitutes a crime against the Cuban people.
Cuba has provided humanity with education, university scholarships and medical care, as well as support for oppressed peoples and liberation movements and was an example of cooperation and solidarity among peoples, while the United States provided wars, sanctions, crimes and coups and was an example of organized international terrorism against the peoples of the world.
We send you this message to stand by your side and condemn the continuation of U.S. sanctions and the accusation of Cuba of supporting terrorism, and let us emphasize the unity of struggle and solidarity among us, with all political, media and human capabilities.
