In Lebanon the League of Palestinian Graduates of Cuban Universities and Institutes demand U.S. to remove Cuba from the list of countries sponsoring terrorism
Beirut, Tuesday, 5/29/2024
The United States is the Terrorism and State Terrorism Loophole
Cuba is a free, independent and sovereign country and above all, it is human in solidarity, represents and responds to the interests of all the people.
The people of Cuba are suffering in their daily lives at all levels due to the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the different governments of the United States for more than six decades. This blockade is affecting negatively on a large scale in the spheres of health, education, tourism, transportation, commercialization, money transfer and other spheres. Notwithstanding this, the U.S. government unjustly includes Cuba on the list of countries that sponsor terrorism.
But in reality and in practice, terrorism and state terrorism is applied by the different governments of the United States of America. It applies and applied it in different parts of the world indirectly by manipulating its international terrorist agents to destabilize the situation in countries such as Syria, Libya, Yemen, Sudan, Egypt, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Cuba and directly by attacking, bombing, destroying countries, massacring peoples such as Cuba, Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, etc., the objective is to sow terror, massacre, kill civilians, destroy economic bases, steal wealth, appropriate and dominate these countries.
We still do not forget the aggression of the mercenaries in Playa Giron in 1961, ordered, supported, financed, prepared, trained, armed by the CIA of the United States.
Today, we Palestinians are facing the aggression launched by the State terrorism led and headed by the United States.
It is not a coincidence to bring out the US State Department report on the date of May 15. This date in 1948 represents the occupation of part of Palestine by Zionist terrorists supported, manipulated, organized, armed, trained and transported from Europe to Palestine by British colonialism and U.S. imperialism.
We express as always our sympathy and solidarity with Cuba, with the revolutionary people of Cuba and with the Cuban revolution in the face of all interference activities and imperial attempts to interfere in Cuba's internal affairs.
We demand that the United States remove Cuba from the list of countries that sponsor terrorism.
Ali ElKhatib
President of the League of Palestinian Graduates of Cuban Universities and Institutes
