Lebanon shows interest in strengthening cooperation and trade links with Cuba
Ali Sweidan, former candidate to the parliamentary elections in the District of Zahle and Lebanese businessman, was received by Ambassador Jorge León Cruz, Cuban Chargé d'Affaires in Beirut, and held a cordial meeting where the possibilities of strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation links and commercial, economic, cultural and other exchanges of mutual interest were valued.
The Lebanese businessman was pleased and grateful for the cordial reception and invited the Cuban head of mission to visit the Bekaa and get to know this province, its history and natural beauty.
For his part, the Cuban diplomat valued Suweidan's visit very positively and expressed his willingness to honour this invitation, expressing his satisfaction for the acknowledged signs of appreciation of the Lebanese people towards Cuba.
