Lebanon thanks Cuba for its solidarity with the Palestinian cause
Ambassador Jorge Leon Cruz received a delegation of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, headed by its Representative in Beirut and Vice President of the Palestinian National Council, Ali Faysal, and composed of members of the Political Bureau Khalidat Hussein and Suhail Al Natour.
During the meeting, current regional issues and the aggressions, massacres and genocide committed by the Israeli regime against the Palestinian people were discussed.
Likewise, gratitude was expressed for Cuba's traditional solidarity with the Palestinian cause to achieve the establishment of an independent Palestinian State, with its capital in Jerusalem, its pre-1967 borders and the right of return of Palestinian refugees.
The Cuban diplomat also expressed gratitude for the traditional expressions of support and solidarity of the FDLP with Cuba and both sides agreed that a future visit to Cuba by the Vice President of the Palestinian National Council will contribute to the strengthening of ties with the National Assembly of People's Power of the Republic of Cuba.
