Monrovia, June 17, 2020 - The Liberia-Cuba solidarity group once again condemned the economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba and rejected the US measures against seven companies on the Caribbean island that were included on the State Department's "List of Restricted Cuban Entities".
In this denunciation, formulated through the president of the solidarity organization Kesselee Kanneh, he points out that these aggressions, during the very difficult moments that the world is facing, is one of the cruelest actions lived by humanity, and that the only thing that this decision will achieve is to increase the solidarity cooperation with the Caribbean country.
The Liberian friends also reiterated their support for the island in the fight against Covid-19, highlighting the efforts made by the country in this regard and its solidarity with other nations that requested help, in particular the sending of medical brigades to different countries in the world. They indicated that the Covid-19 has exposed to the world the enormous limitations to which the US blockade of Cuba is subject.
