Monrovia May 8, 2018, - Under the title " Liberia-Cuba Bilateral Relations: Major Developments in April 2018", the Liberian newspaper The Frontier published, both in its digital (http://liberiantimesnews.com/) and in print versions, an extensive article describing some of the main events that, during the first semester of 2018, have stood out in the diplomatic ties between both nations. The newspaper consulted various information sources such as the website of the Cuban diplomatic mission, CubaMinrex and the Monthly Bulletin from the Cuban Embassy in Liberia.
In its extensive brief, the libel highlights the press conference on the Cuban electoral process held on April 3, which was attended by 18 journalists from 11 national media. He also recounts the courtesy visit made by the Cuban Charge d'Affaires, Yordenis Despaigne Vera, to the headquarters of the current governing party: Coalition for Democratic Change, where he was welcomed by his National President, St. Mulbah K. Morlu and other members of the executive. It also describes the interview offered by the head of the Cuban diplomatic mission to the Director of the Daily Observer newspaper and the celebration of the 44th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Greater Antilles and the West African nation, an event that was attended by and address by the Liberian Foreign Minister Mr. Gbehzhongar Milton Findley.
