The member of the parliament Luis Morlote Rivas arrived in Vienna, Austria today in the afternoon. He is the President of the Parliamentary Group of Friendship with the EU Member States and Vice-president of the Committee on Education, Culture, Science, Technology, and Environment of the National Assembly of People´s Power will execute to Vienna. Mr. Morlote is a young and prominent Cuban intellectual who also holds the position of First Vice President of the National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC by its Spanish initials).
Morlote Rivas, member of PARLATINO will attend the 11th Ordinary Plenary Session of the Euro-Latin American Parliamentary Assembly which will be held in this city at the time he will execute an intense working program which includes meetings with the main figures of the European and Austrian Parliament and with the members of the “ÖKG”, the Austria - Cuba Friendship Association and “Cuba Va”, the Association of Cuban Residents in Austria.
Comrade Morlote Rivas held an encounter with Ambassador of Cuba to Austria, H.E Mr. Juan Antonio Fernández Palacios and the other officials of the diplomatic mission in this country upon arrival.
