Meeting of the Consul General with the Assistant Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade of the Province of Ontario.

The Consul General of Cuba in Toronto was received by Corie McDougall, Assistant Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade of the province of Ontario.

During the meeting, they discussed and agreed on the main ways to expand and diversify trade exchange in areas of mutual interest. The Cuban diplomat also took advantage of the occasion to promote the portfolio of business opportunities in Cuba and to denounce the direct effects of the U.S. blockade on the development of our people.

Also participating in the meeting on the Canadian side were Enrico Di Nino, Director of the Export Growth Branch and on the Cuban side, Consul Sabdiel Lafargue Moreno.
