Luxembourg, June 15th, 2023. Cuban Ambassador to Luxembourg, Anet Pino Rivero, held a cordial meeting with representatives of the Association “Amistad Cuba-Luxembourg” (ACL), as part of the program she is carrying out during her concurrency visit.
The Association reiterated its support to the lifting of the genocide economic, financing and commercial blockade imposed by US government on the Caribbean Island for more than 60 years, as well as its opposition to the unfair inclusion of Cuba in the spurious and unilateral list of countries sponsors of terrorism.
The ACL is a nonprofit association that was established in 1984 after a research trip of a group of teachers from Luxembourg to Cuba. Its main purpose is to promote friendship ties between peoples of Luxembourg and Cuba, in particular, through mutual acknowledge of its history, culture and economy.
