Meeting with ECOWAS Senior Diplomat, Africa, and the Third World.

During an ECOWAS peace visit to Monrovia, the distinguished Nigerian diplomat and Professor Ibrahim Gambari met with colleagues based in Monrovia.

During the meeting with ambassadors and professors Iqbal Jhazbhay and Dr. Indira López Arguelles, from South Africa and Cuba, respectively, Professor Gambari also discussed pressing issues in the region, such as the fight against poverty, hunger, renewable energy, climate change, irregular migration, among others, and the common cause of countries like Cuba and South Africa in development and mutually beneficial cooperation with the region.
