Meeting with the press at the Cuban Embassy:

Cuba’s Ambassador to Liberia, Dr. Indira López Arguelles, held a meeting with journalists from radio, television, and print media to update them on the relentless impact that the energy blockade, the embargo—now in place for over 60 years—and recent executive orders from the U.S. administration are having on the quality of life of the Cuban people.

Participants also received videos and materials regarding the revolutionary work of Army General Raúl Castro and upcoming activities honoring the centenary of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro.

Additionally, the journalists inquired about bilateral cooperation between Cuba and Liberia, opportunities for studying in Cuba, and the island's new economic transformations.
