Addis Ababa, November 2, 2025.- This Sunday, members of the Cuban Diplomatic Mission in Ethiopia arrived in the Adama region, where we experienced a deeply moving day with our Ethiopian-Cuban brothers and sisters. From the very first moment, we felt the warmth, joy and immense affection of those who, despite the distance, continue to carry Cuba in their hearts.
We attended the 9th General Assembly of the Ethio-Cuba Savings and Credit Association, a living example of organization, unity and social commitment. On behalf of the Mission, we express our sincere gratitude for their continued support of the Embassy's work, their firm and unwavering condemnation of the blockade and their generous donation of medicines for the victims of Hurricane Melissa in eastern Cuba, which they delivered during our visit.
Every encounter with our Ethiopian brothers and sisters, educated in Cuba, fills us with hope and reaffirms the unbreakable bonds of friendship that unite our peoples. In every word, in every gesture of solidarity, the indelible mark of the brotherhood between Cuba and Ethiopia is evident, forged in respect, gratitude and shared values.
