Addis Ababa, February 23, 2023. Members of the Cuban Embassy in Ethiopia, together with the director of the Ethiopian-Cuban Friendship Association, Ato Abebe, paid a visit to the center that houses the Organization of Parents of Children with Childhood Cancer Tesfa Addis (TAPCCO) and made a modest donation of food and sweets for the kids.
TAPCCO is a non-profit organization that provides assistance to children with cancer and their parents, during the medical treatment stage, providing them with free accommodation and transportation to the hospital centers where they receive medical care.
During the visit, the members of the mission toured the premises of the entity and received information related to the operation of the organization, the lives of sick children and the medical care they receive. They also had the opportunity to exchange with children, teachers, parents and volunteers who live in the entity.
