A group of members of the Henry Reeve medical brigade returns to Cuba

125 Cuban health professionals returned to their country, after successfully facing the coronavirus pandemic in Kuwait. Cuban health personnel worked for more than 6 months, during which they treated hundreds of patients, saved lives, and helped alleviate the pain of people sick from this terrible disease.

The authorities of the Ministry of Health of Kuwait thanked them for the dedication and sacrifice shown in the performance of their duties, and wished them a happy return to their homeland.

Cuba maintains 60 health professionals in Kuwait, who work in the direct confrontation of patients ill by Covid-19. The Cuban medical presence in Kuwait responds to a request from that government and relies on the excellent ties of friendship between both countries.
