Cuban President Miguel-Díaz Bermúdez sent a video message to the Inaugural Session of the 6th International Conference of the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI), which is being held in New Delhi from April 24-25.
After the recent inclusion of Cuba in this initiative, the Cuban president highlighted that this decision demonstrates the priority we give to disaster risk reduction. He underlined the interest in contributing to mutual learning and reaffirmed Cuba's commitment to continue working, together with the members of the Coalition, to increase international cooperation in this area, for the benefit of our peoples.
He also recognized the role played by India in the development of the CDRI and its excellent work as co-chair of this initiative.
