Addis Ababa, February 3rd 2021. The Minister of Education of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, H.E. Eng. Getahun Mekuria, attended the International Congress Pedagogy 2021 organized by the Ministry of Education of Cuba from the 1st to 3rd February.
Due to the pandemic of Covid-19 the event took place on a virtual format where Minister Mekuria during his speech highlighted the experiences of his country in the education sector, particularly during the impact of the pandemic. Likewise, he called to strength the educative cooperation among all the countries as a way to face the current international situation from a better perspective and the inclusion of scientific and technological developments in favor of an inclusive education.
The international event brings together more than 300 delegates from 27 countries and 600 Cuban participants. Ministers and Deputy Ministers, Directors of Education and representatives of international organizations were also in attendance.
