Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba congratulates the new Foreign Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, October 21, 2024.- The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, congratulated Dr. Gedion Timothewos through his X account after his appointment as the new Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. 

Dr. Gedion takes over as the new Foreign Minister, replacing Ambassador Taye Atske-Selassie, who was recently sworn in as the country's President.

In his message of X, the Cuban Foreign Minister reiterated the willingness of the Cuban government to expand economic-commercial ties and cooperation with Ethiopia.
