Minister of Public Works Receives Cuban Ambassador

The Honorable Minister of Public Works, Mr. Roland Layfette Giddings, received the Cuban Ambassador, Dr. Indira López Arguelles, at the Ministry headquarters.

Ambassador López Arguelles provided him with an update on the political situation in Latin America and the tightening of the blockade against Cuba by the Donald Trump administration in the United States.

The Ambassador also highlighted the potential for bilateral cooperation between Cuban and Liberian construction companies, as well as aspects of the export of services that Cuba provides to African countries.
