Yesterday night, the EmbaCuba Austria team had the pleasure of participating in the presentation of the multi-award winning film "Yuli". The film, which deals with the life of the Cuban dancer Carlos Acosta, recounts how he had to persevere to achieve his dreams
Icíar Bollaín, director of the film and responsible for bringing to the big screen the life of a young black man born in a humble birth, whose father longed for a promising future in dance was present at the gala. Similarly, at the end of the presentation Bollaín recognized the democratization of the Cuban educational system, the quality and effort made by the arts institutions and especially the dance schools on the island.
