Namibian Fisheries Minister and Cuban Ambassador review bilateral ties in the sector.

Namibia, May 30th, 2022 –Hon. Mr. Derek Klazen, Minister of Fisheries and Marine Resources of the Republic of Namibia, received Ambassador Sidenio Acosta, head of the Cuban Diplomatic Mission in this African country.

During the fraternal meeting, both exchanged on the historical cooperation in the fishing sector.

In this regard, Minister Klazen highlighted the progress made in aquaculture, as a result of the presence of Cuban experts in that field in Namibia.

On his part, Ambassador Acosta reiterated the will of the Cuban government to continue cooperating with his Namibian counterpart in this and other sectors of the economy of this nation.
