The Hague, May 27th, 2023. At the premises of the Embassy of Cuba in the Netherlands, Dutch organizations and friends met to ratify their commitment and solidarity with Cuba.
The meeting had the participation of representatives of 6 Foundations and some friends, who carry out several solidarity actions with Cuba, denounce de unfair US blockade policy against Cuban people, support the Cuban Revolution, as well as promote the exchange and cooperation on social sectors like health and education.
Cuban Ambassador, HE Ms. Anet Pino Rivero made a presentation with updated information on economic and social situation in Cuba, highlighting the impact of the reinforcement of the US unilateral blockade on Cuba and the unjustified inclusion of Cuba in the spurious List of Countries Sponsors of Terrorism.
Pino Rivero also commented about National Plan for Economic and Social Development 2030 and the priorities and actions that Cuban government is developing to promote the country prosperity aim to reach the wellbeing of its population, guarantying the maintenance and improvement of social achievements.
Ovation of "End the blockade", "Long Live Cuba" and "Homeland or Death, we shall overcome!" met the voices of the participants.
