St. George, March 3, 2026 – Ambassador Yadirys Echenique Paz presented her Copy of Credentials to the Honourable Joseph Andall, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Export Development of Grenada, on Tuesday, officially appointing her as Cuba's ambassador to the Caribbean island.
During the meeting, the Grenadian Foreign Minister welcomed the Cuban diplomat and highlighted the positive political and cooperative relations between the two countries.
The Cuban Ambassador took the opportunity to reiterate Cuba's gratitude to the Grenadian government for its continued support of the resolution calling for the lifting of the economic, commercial, and financial embargo imposed by the United States.
The diplomats reaffirmed their commitment to continue working to strengthen the ties between the two countries, which this year celebrate their 47th anniversary.
