New route between Canada and Cuba via WestJet airline

Starting December 18th, the airline WestJet will inaugurate a new direct route between Canada and Cuba, thus strengthening air connectivity and creating new opportunities for the national tourism sector.

This air bridge will facilitate the flow of visitors from one of our main source markets, increasing flight capacity and access to emblematic destinations such as Varadero, Cayo Coco, and Havana. The connection will have two weekly flights every Thursday and Sunday.

The Ministry of Tourism of Cuba celebrates this initiative as a key step in revitalizing the tourism recovery, highlighting that "the route opens new opportunities to enjoy the culture, hospitality, and warmth that characterize Cuba."
