Palestinian youth in Lebanon express their support for Cuba

Beirut, November 14, 2021. The Palestinian Democratic Youth Union today reiterated its support for Cuba in the face of the U.S. government's hostility, during a ceremony at the Mar Elias (St. Elias) refugee camp in Lebanon.

The president of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Ali Faisal, stated that the Caribbean nation is not alone in the face of Washington's attempts to create chaos and destabilization.

Meanwhile, the Cuban ambassador in Beirut, Alexander Pellicer, pointed out that scientists from the so-called Antillean alligator succeeded with vaccine candidates in controlling the Covid-19 pandemic and in bringing about the entry of a new normality.

From that moment on, the doors will be opened to tourism, one of the key sectors of the Cuban economy, now very deteriorated by almost two years of closure and the tightening of the U.S. blockade.

To avoid this step, he explained, and as part of their soft coup strategy, agents paid by the White House intend to carry out a supposedly peaceful march in several Cuban cities tomorrow, Monday.

The nearly one hundred people attending the ceremony in Mar Elías repudiated this U.S. strategy with a round of applause for the diplomat's words and a resounding shout of Viva Cuba. (Embacuba Líbano/Prensa Latina)
