Parliaments of Cuba and Lebanon Call for Strengthening Parliamentary Ties

Mr. Nahib Berry, Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, received Ambassador Jorge P. León Cruz, who presented him with a letter sent by Esteban Lazo Hernández, President of the National Assembly of People’s Power of the Republic of Cuba.

During the positive meeting, the traditional mutual support and unwavering expressions of bilateral solidarity between Cuba and Lebanon were reaffirmed, and the excellent bilateral ties between the two parliaments were highlighted.

Furthermore, the commitment to continue working toward strengthening interparliamentary ties and coordination in international parliamentary forums and events was made clear.
