Dear comrades,
Warm and fraternal greetings to the government of Cuba, (ICAP) Instituto Cubano de Amistad con los Pueblos. The (PCFS) Philippine-Cuban Friendship Society expresses its solidarity and unbending support to the Cuban people, to the party, and its friends and sympathizers in their continued resistance and struggle against the manipulative destabilization that is occurring at this moment.
The destabilization which was preempted action in support of United States of America policy of political and economic sabotage to sow discord between the solidarity of the Cuban people and government. Its aim and purposes is to topple the socialist development of the Cuban society.
Its antisocialist character manifested by the continues commercial and trade blockade against Cuba. Thru the blockade they compelled the Cuban economy to suffer insufficiency of each material and technical necessities for improving the efficiency of each energy and food production. The sanctions against energy development program deprive the energy sector of its much needed infrastructure and technical knowhow on exploration, processing, storage and transportation. The recent incident of oil storage facility explosion in the province of Matanzas, shut the local thermal power station and sparked fears of an energy crisis in the country.
The blockade against Cuban agriculture brought about the crisis of insufficiency of inputs in the food production throughout the country.
The Philippine-Cuban Friendship Society (PCFS) condemns any attempts to destabilize Cuba’s government and support the nation’s right to self-determination. We firmly stand in solidarity with the Cuban people, advocating peace, stability and respect for its sovereignty.
Long live socialist Cuba!!!
