Popular Consultation Meeting on the draft of the Cuban Family Code held in Lebanon
During the Popular Consultation at the Cuban Embassy in Lebanon on the draft of the new Code of Families, the importance that the Revolutionary Government attaches to strengthening the unity of the fundamental cell of society, respect for human dignity, protection of the most vulnerable and equality of all its members was highlighted.
The opinions and proposals of all Cubans, inside and outside the country, demonstrate the interest of contributing to the development of a free, independent, sovereign, democratic, social justice and human solidarity society and also contribute to strengthen the dialogue between the country and Cubans living abroad, always with the premise of unrestricted respect for the self-determination and sovereignty of Cuba.
