The Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in India, Abel Aballe Despaigne, made a presentation to a hundred small and medium enterprises in India, on business opportunities in Cuba, particularly in the small and medium industry sector, in the framework of the INDIA SME 100 Awards 2023, organized by the SME Forum.
The Cuban diplomat highlighted the development of MYPIMES in Cuba in the last two years and the central role they are called to play in the development and dynamization of the Cuban economy. He urged Indian companies to join Cuba's productive and supply chains, with a view to both the Cuban and regional markets, in synergy with the island's business sector.
The space was also propitious to extend an invitation to those present, in particular to the SME Forum, to join the Indian business delegation that will participate in the FIHAV 2023 trade fair, which will take place in Havana from November 6 to 11.
