Kuwait, February 1: The tourism destination of Cuba was officially presented to more than 40 travel agencies from the State of Kuwait during a professional event held at the Cultural Art Plattform (CAT), aimed at enhancing tourism cooperation and promoting Cuba’s offerings within the Kuwaiti market.
The event was presided over by the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the State of Kuwait, Alain Pérez Torres and was honored by the attendance of the Assistant Minister for the Americas of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait, His Excellency Nawaf Abdullatif Sulaiman Al-Ahmed, underscoring the mutual interest in further strengthening bilateral relations between both countries.
The destination presentation was conducted by the Tourism Counselor of the Republic of Cuba, Mr. Eddy Santos González, who outlined the principal tourism attractions of the country, highlighting its rich cultural heritage, natural diversity, and the wide range of opportunities for developing tourism products and cooperation with Kuwaiti tour operators and travel agencies.
The meeting provided an appropriate framework for dialogue and exchange with representatives of the local tourism sector, contributing to the promotion of Cuba as a safe, authentic, and highly attractive destination for travelers from the Gulf region, and fostering prospects for future collaboration.
