The President of Cuba Miguel Diaz-Canel expresses his solidarity to the government and the people of  Trinidad and Tobago.

Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel expressed his deep solidarity with the Venezuelan Government and people, after the occurrence on Tuesday 21st of an earthquake of 6.3 degrees to 19 kilometers from the town of Yaguaraparo, Sucre State.

The President announced his message through the Twitter account of the Cuban Foreign Ministry, through which he also conveyed his solidarity to the Government and people of Trinidad and Tobago, where the effects of the earth movement were also felt.

In both messages, Díaz-Canel reiterated Cuba's willingness to help in everything that is within its reach and made available to both countries the help of the Island.

The earthquake occurred at 5:30p.m on Tuesday and was also felt, according to statements by the Minister of Popular Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, of Venezuela, Néstor Reverol, in the States of Nueva Esparta, Sucre, Monagas. , Bolívar, Delta Amacuro, Aragua, Carabobo and the Capital District, but no victims were reported at the end of the night.

The Minister pointed out that the responsible agencies are coordinating the process of evaluating the situation, the possible damages incurred and the attention needs that may arise.
