Addis Ababa, June 14, 2024. The President of Ethiopia, H.E. Sahle-Work Zewde, received during a courtesy audience the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Mr. Jorge Fernando Lefebre Nicolás, after the announcement of the end of his diplomatic mission.
Both sides highlighted the good state of the historic relations between Cuba and Ethiopia and expressed the willingness of the two governments to continue advancing in cooperation between the two countries in the bilateral and multilateral spheres.
The Cuban ambassador thanked the Ethiopian government for its support during his tenure as ambassador.
For her part, President H.E. Sahle-Work wished the Cuban ambassador success in his new duties.
