Addis Ababa, October 14, 2018. The President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, H.E. Mr. Mulatu Teshome, hosted a gala dinner in honour of the Cuban delegation to the 40th anniversary of the jointly victory in the Ogaden and of the beginning of the educational programs for Ethiopians in Cuba.
In the event, the Ethiopian President praised Cuba for the contribution made to Ethiopia in difficult times as well as in other fields of cooperation. The Army Corps General Ramón Espinosa Martín, Hero of the Republic of Cuba and Deputy Minister of the Revolutionary Armed Forces acknowleged the braves Ethiopian troops that faced the Somalis in the military campaign 1977/78 as well as ratified the willigness of Cuba to continue expanding the cooperation with Ethiopia.
