Vienna, March 26. The President of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), Fernando González Llort, held a pleasant meeting with solidarity friends in Austria, whom he thanked for their permanent support to Cuba.
During the meeting that took place at the Residence of the Cuban Ambassador in Austria, the Hero of the Republic of Cuba and Deputy to the National Assembly of People's Power, had a dialogue with the members of the Austria-Cuba Friendship Association "ÖKG", the members of its Kuratorium, a representation of the Austrian Labor Party (PdA), including members of the youth of that party, as well as with the highest diplomatic representatives of Nicaragua and Venezuela in Vienna.
In the activity, Ambassador Pablo Berti Oliva highlighted the importance of having the presence of the head of ICAP in the country and thanked all the friends who continue to support the solidarity with the Cuban people and its Revolution. In addition, the President of the ÖKG ratified the Association's will to continue supporting Cuba.
Fernando Gonzáles Llort, thanked the participants for their constant support to Cuba on several fronts of struggle, especially in denouncing the blockade and the inclusion of the country in the illegal and unilateral list of State Sponsors of Terrorism. He especially acknowledged those who supported the international initiative in favor of his release and that of his four brothers and sisters.
