President of the Lebanese Republic receives the respects and wishes of the Cuban Head of Mission on the occasion of the new year 2022.
The President of the Lebanese Republic, Michel Aoun, received at the Presidential Palace, the members of the accredited Diplomatic Corps to whom he offered a cordial welcome on the occasion of receiving and presenting the vows of prosperity for the new year 2022.
In his speech, he thanked the words and congratulations presented by the Apostolic Nuncio, Monsignor Joseph Spiteri, in his capacity as Dean and on behalf of the Diplomatic Corps and thanked the ambassadors for the support and solidarity that their respective countries have shown to Lebanon.
During his farewell, President Aoun interacted with the heads of missions in attendance and Cuban Ambassador Jorge Leon Cruz, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. took advantage of a brief exchange he had with the Lebanese president and expressed, on behalf of the Cuban government and people, the best wishes of prosperity and progress for the government and people of the country of the cedars.
