Presidential Statement and Final Document of the Foreign Ministers' Meeting condemning the strengthening of the US embargo against Cuba.

New Delhi, 15 May 2026 - After two days of intense discussions in the framework of the BRICS Foreign Ministers' Meeting, the final document of the meeting included international condemnation of the extreme strengthening of the American policy of economic, financial and commercial asphyxiation against Cuba.

The Foreign Ministers of member and partner countries of BRICS, representing the Global South, reiterated the need to end unilateral coercive measures, particularly the blockade, against Cuba and reiterated their solidarity with the Caribbean nation.
