Addis Ababa, March 13, 2025.- The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, was received today by the Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Abiy Ahmed, as part of his official visit to the country on the occasion of the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two nations.
During the meeting, the Cuban Foreign Minister conveyed an affectionate greeting from the President of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, and highlighted the willingness to strengthen and energize bilateral cooperation in key areas such as agriculture, education, health, biotechnology and water resources.
Both sides reaffirmed the historic ties of friendship and solidarity that unite Cuba and Ethiopia, and expressed their willingness to continue expanding collaboration for mutual benefit.
